This is the standard professional path and enables both the 5% trade discount AND full Texas sales tax exemption from your first order. Texas law requires a valid resale certificate on file for tax-exempt purchases — this path completes both requirements at application time.

This path activates the 5% trade discount for working professionals who do not yet have a resale certificate on file, or whose practice does not require one. Sales tax exemption is not available on Path B until you submit a valid resale certificate.

How long does the trade program application process take?
Most trade program applications are approved within 2 to 3 business days of submission, assuming all required documentation is provided on the first application. Applications missing documentation may take longer because we will email you for the missing pieces. To speed approval, submit complete documentation up front and use a business email address that matches your application materials.
What documents do I need to apply for the Kassa Mall trade program?
Choose one of two verification paths: Path A requires a valid business license plus Texas Sales and Use Tax Resale Certificate (Form 01-339) for full 5% trade discount plus tax exemption, or Path B requires a link to your active business website/portfolio plus a business email address on your domain for the 5% trade discount only. Path B applicants can later submit a resale certificate to add tax exemption. Both paths also require a brief description of your practice and (for businesses) your Federal EIN.
Can I apply if I do not have a Texas resale certificate?
Yes — if you do not have a resale certificate, use Path B verification with your business website/portfolio and a business email address, which activates the 5% trade discount but not sales tax exemption. Texas law requires a valid resale certificate on file with Kassa Mall in order to remove sales tax from your orders, so tax exemption specifically depends on submitting Texas Form 01-339 or an out-of-state equivalent. You can add the certificate later at any time by emailing it to service@kmhomefurniture.com.
Do my trade benefits apply in-store, online, and by phone?
Yes — your Kassa Mall Trade ID works equally in our Katy showroom, by phone at (281) 377-8547, and online via email orders to service@kmhomefurniture.com. The only requirement is that you reference your Trade ID at the start of the order conversation, before payment is processed — we cannot retroactively refund the trade discount or remove sales tax on completed orders. For online orders, email us your item list and Trade ID before checkout, and we will apply trade pricing and send a payment link.
Can I combine my trade discount with coupon codes like Welcome10 or Off25?
No — the trade discount does not stack with coupon codes (Welcome10, Off25, Savings75, 100Exclusive) on the same order; you must choose whichever provides the better savings for your specific cart. For most orders, the 5% trade discount plus tax exemption beats any single coupon code. For small orders just over a coupon threshold, the coupon may save more. Our trade contact can run both calculations on a quote and recommend the better option for your specific situation.
What items are NOT eligible for trade pricing at Kassa Mall?
Excluded items are those already discounted below standard retail: clearance items, outlet inventory, "AS-IS" merchandise, sale-priced promotional items, items already discounted via a coupon code, plus delivery and assembly fees and Guardian Protection Plan add-ons. All standard inventory furniture, special-order configurations, and multi-item project orders qualify for the trade discount with no minimum order requirement.
Can I get a project quote for multi-item furniture purchases?

This is ideal for room packages, model home furnishing, hospitality installations, and commercial buildouts. Multi-item project orders receive priority handling and can include staged delivery schedules to match construction timelines.
Is there a minimum order requirement for the trade program?
No — the Kassa Mall trade program has no minimum order requirement, no annual spending minimum, and no membership fee. The 5% discount applies whether you are ordering a single accent chair or a full hospitality buildout. Your trade account also does not expire or require renewal as long as your business remains active.
Can I use my trade account for personal purchases for my own home?
Yes — the 5% trade discount applies to your personal furniture purchases for your own home, although sales tax exemption (Path A) only applies to items legitimately purchased for resale or for a client project, per Texas state tax law. Personal use items must be ordered with tax included. Our trade contact will help you separate personal-use and resale orders correctly for accurate tax handling.
How do I update my trade account information if my business changes?
Email service@kmhomefurniture.com with subject "Update Trade Account" and include your Trade ID along with the updated information (new business name, address, resale certificate, EIN, or contact details). Updates typically process within 1–2 business days. If you change your business entity (new LLC, partnership, sale of practice), we will request updated documentation to reissue your Trade ID under the new entity.
Can my client be billed directly for furniture I source through my trade account?
For most trade arrangements, the trade member places the order under their account and arranges payment from the client separately — Kassa Mall does not typically bill third parties directly on trade orders. For volume hospitality or commercial accounts, we can discuss direct invoicing on a case-by-case basis. Contact your trade representative to discuss billing arrangements for specific project structures.
Does the Kassa Mall trade program work with my financing partners or layaway?
Yes — trade members retain access to all standard payment options including layaway over 3 to 5 months, 90 Days Same as Cash financing, and "No Credit Needed" lease-to-own programs through our six financing partners.
